This picture is of Team Canada 2009, Junior world champions. This was Team Canada's 5th Gold Medal championship in a row. In total this was Canada's 8th straight appearance in the championships, and 11th consecutive year they have won a world junior medal. The championship game was against Sweden on Monday January 5th 2009. Canada defeated Sweden with a score of 5-1, Way to go Canada!

Canada's most crazy victory was against Denmark, who lost 47-0. They average 5.67 goals per game. Jackie McLeod has been Canada's top scorer at the World Championships who got 30 goals and 15 assists for a total of 45 points.
